When should I decode to hex instead of text?
Whenever the encoded value is a key, a hash, or any other Byte sequence. Decoding to hex succeeds for every valid Base32 input; decoding to text only succeeds when the bytes happen to be valid UTF-8.
What does the output look like?
Lowercase hex digits, two per byte, with no separators and no 0x prefix — a form that pastes cleanly into most tools.
Is this Base32 to Base58?
No. These Tools convert between Text or Hex and one encoding at a time. To move between the two encodings, decode to hex first, then encode that hex.
